It was the summer of 2019 when I approached Yungblud musically.
My life was overwhelmed by a breath of fresh air and his songs now accompanied all my days.
Due to the lockdown, I was going through a dark and very sad period.
The days no longer had a beginning and an end.
I felt like I was living in a continuous loop.
At the time I was studying fashion design and I was due to graduate soon.
But at the same time I had lost hope in everything, especially in human beings.
Only Dominic's lyrics were able to convey to me everything I needed most: hope, freedom, courage, lightness and the most important one of all... "life". The one they were slowly taking away from us.
I have always admired his human and artistic side, taking him almost as a reference.
This, I think he (subconsciously) taught meor a new way of approaching life.
On November 15, '22, after attending his show in Milan, I reflected on how much his music has always been of great inspiration to me; and for this reason I decided to dedicate a custom garment to him.
I never, ever thought that that day would become one of the most important in my life: Dominic shared my boss on social media and in this way gave me all the strength and hope I needed most.
The demand for custom garments was increasing visibly. I could not believe it! It was all happening so fast!
It was absurd for me to think that that garment made for pure fun continued to be shared and reshared by many people. Their support was incredible!
I rolled up my sleeves and worked hard to launch my brand as soon as possible.
On November 23, '22, DESIGNEDBYFC was born and the first product I published (in series) was the "Sex Not Violence" jacket.
Needless to say, this was only the beginning of a very long story.
